Annual Parliamentary Covenant Service 2022 from Methodist Central Hall Westminster
The annual Methodist Parliamentary Covenant Service took place this year in the historic Great Hall at Methodist Central Hall in Westminster. The service is usually held in the Chapel of St. Mary Undercroft in the Palace of Westminster, but this year, owing to Covid restrictions it was held in-person, but outside of the Parliamentary estate.
The service was led by Revd Tony Miles, Superintendent Minister of Methodist Central Hall Westminster, with contributions from Cat Smith MP, Andrew Rosindell MP, Stephen Timms MP, Derek Thomas MP, Revd Lord Griffiths of Burry Port, President of the Methodist Conference Revd Sonia Hicks, Vice President of Conference Barbara Easton, Revd Canon Dr Jen Smith of Wesley's Chapel, Revd Nigel Cowgill, and Revd Lansford Penn-Timity.
