Jazz Carols London took place at Methodist Central Hall Westminster on Sunday 21 December 2025, closing the Advent season with carols, readings and jazz in the Great Hall.

This service re-frames familiar Christmas carols through live jazz, creating space for reflection rather than performance. The reflection was given by Revd Dr Howard Mellor, who explored the incarnation through the lens of jazz — improvisation, listening, risk and response.

Music was led by saxophonist Dan Forshaw with the Jazz Vespers group, joined by vocalists Becca Wilkins and Helen Bond. The sound is rooted, spacious and attentive, allowing the carols to breathe while opening new harmonic ground.
