2026 Healing Conference

Our 2026 Healing Conference 'Abundant Life - A Healing Journey' was held on Saturday, 16th May 2026

Our annual Healing conference drew people together for a day of faith, healing and spiritual renewal under the theme "Abundant Life," taken from John 10:10. Keynote speaker Dr Ben Pugh, author and theology lecturer at Cliff College, shared his own spiritual journey with real candour, from a comfortable but empty childhood in the Cotswolds to a life changed at art college, where a fellow student first introduced him to Christ. Pugh's teaching centred on what it means to live "in Christ," a union he came to grasp more fully in March 2024 and one he believes sits at the very heart of abundant life. "It is in that union with Christ that more is found," he told the audience. "Life more abundantly flows through us out of the union."

Across sessions including "He Died, I Died," Pugh explored surrender as the route to true spiritual life, reflecting on Galatians and Romans and reminding listeners that "people are not lost in Christ, they are found in Christ." He drew on the incarnation to describe a God who enters fully into human weakness and sorrow, and he pressed the importance of daily spiritual disciplines such as unceasing prayer to sustain that union. Also speaking was Jonathan Clark, director of Premier Lifeline, the confidential Christian helpline that has handled 1.85 million calls since launching in 1995. Clark spoke warmly about the charity's long partnership with the conference and its volunteer-led work supporting people in emotional and spiritual crisis. The day closed on a message of grace and faith, and the conviction that abundant life is found not through striving alone but through a deeper relationship with Christ.
